About
Hi There,
I am Pierre Muller and I am at heart a passionate engineer, a disciplined sportsman and avid learner.
As a professional, I had to transform myself from a semiconductor digital designer, to a technical leader, people manager and business leader.
As a sportsman, I love to test and engage in new activities and push the boundaries from telemark skiing, capoeira, calisthenics and ultra-trail running.
As a father of 2, I want to lead them and inspire them to learn, develop themselves and growth.

My Professional Journey
My professional journey started with deep technical expertise before evolving gradually to people management, product management and customer interaction before moving to a more business centric role with P&L management.
I started in 2000 at ST Microelectronics after an engineering master degree in microelectronic as the first digital engineer in the RF division. I spend exciting years design digital parts of RF IC for high tech product, from Bluetooth, WIFI & WIMAX and then cellular products. I move slowly from design to architecture, and team leadership. I leave ST-Ericsson (JV between ST & Ericsson) in 2013 leading a team of 40 digital engineers in the same division.
From then, I took the responsibility for HW development in a Tiempo-IC, a startup based in Grenoble developing asynchronous design technology for high security products. They are now a part of Qualcomm.
I joined EM Microelectronic in 2017, to took the lead of all technical developments in the RFID Business unit. Working closely with the BU Leaders, I naturally step up to the BU leadership when he got promoted.
This website traces some of the key history and lessons I learned along the way. I hope it will proves useful.
